Celebrations

Martin Luther King Jr. Freedom Celebration
Join the annual celebration to praise Dr. King through a presentation of photography, spoken word, and music.

Kwanzaa Celebration
Each December, the Museum presents an annual program celebrating the seven-day festival of Kwanzaa and its seven guiding principles (Nguzo Saba) for strengthening family, community, and cultural values. The program is a collaboration with the St. Louis Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Culture Days
Make art a part of your community's religious and national celebrations. The Museum offers personalized tours, performances, and hands-on art activities that highlight specific cultures, customs, and traditions.
